This company makes the fabric that they use for the Olympic gymnasts uniforms! How cool is that? Imagine how fast you'll be able to run! Don't let this excessively cute embossed velvet scare you away. I have made this into my fall and winter activewear and have absolutely put it through it's paces. It wears well with no signs of wear after two years. As with any high pile fabric, I would recommend you wash it with fabrics that won't produce a lot of lint (like towels) as this can get stuck to the fabric.
