Mount Pleasant Top
In this three session class, students will receive 3 hours of hands on instruction covering top town drop sleeve construction, joining too flat pieces in the round, picking up stitches, and a variation on the world famous feather and fan lace pattern.
Required Skills:
- Knit
- Purl
- Cast On
- Bind off
- Work common lace stitches like yo, k2tog, and ssk
- Read a pattern
- Read a chart
Required Supplies:
- 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins of Malabrigo Ultimate Sock in the colors of your choosing
- Finished Bust Measurement: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 62)“
- 32" US size 4 and 5 needle (or sizes needed to obtain gauge)

- Supplies available for purchase at the shop
Pre-Work:
Cast on 34 stitches on a US size 5. Gauge should be 24 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette after blocking.
In Person/Virtual Classes:
Once you have signed up for the class and purchased your materials, you will be sent a code for the zoom meetings as well as any other pertinent information. Each session is held in the shop AND virtually. Additional videos will be posted on the group facebook page where participants are encouraged to share photos.
