Fashion and Sewing Week

Fashion & Sewing Week is a fun and creative camp where kids can explore the world of fashion design and sewing through hands-on projects and beginner-friendly instruction. Throughout the week, campers will learn foundational sewing skills, fabric basics, measuring, garment construction, and fashion customization while creating accessories, tote bags, wearable projects, and personalized fashion pieces.

Designed for ages 7–12, this camp encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence while teaching real sewing and design techniques in an engaging and supportive environment. Campers will sketch ideas, experiment with fabrics and embellishments, and showcase their finished creations at the end of the week in a fun runway-style celebration.

  Throughout the week, campers will learn beginner sewing and fashion design skills while creating fun, wearable, and creative projects including:

  • Fashion sketchbooks and mood boards
  • Scrunchies and hair accessories
  • Tote bags
  • Head scarves
  • Beginner garment sewing projects such as skirts, shorts, or pajama pants
  • Decorated T-shirts and patched denim
  • Fashion patches and appliqué projects
  • Tie dye or fabric painting creations
  • DIY jewelry and accessories
  • Personalized fashion portfolios

  Campers will also participate in fun themed activities throughout the week including:

  • Fashion sketch challenges
  • Fabric scavenger hunts within the store to learn about different materials
  • “Design Your Brand” creative games
  • Accessory runway walks
  • Fashion photoshoots
  • “Project Runway” style design challenges
  • A final parent runway showcase on Friday
