Mercer Coveralls



In this 8 hour, four session advanced class, we will cover interfacing, top stitching, set in sleeves, elastic insertion, crotch curves, patch pockets, zippers, and collars.

Required Skills:
Sew in a straight line
Backtack
Wind a bobbin
Piece together a pattern
Cut a pattern out

Required Materials: 
Seamwork Mercer pattern (printed and assembled)
Finished Hip: 34-64
Thread
Interfacing 
Yardage: 3 - 5 3/8 prewashed yds of a medium weight like corduroy, denimbrushed twill, or railroad denim.

Sewing Machines: 
We recommend you bring your home machine (if it's portable and in good working order), so we can teach you best practices on your own machine. However, if you're brand new to sewing, we have machines here for you to use!

Pre-work: 
Assemble your pattern pieces and cut them out in advance. If you have a comfortable cutting area at home, cut your fabric as well.
