Halibut
In this four session class, students will receive 4 hours of hands on instruction covering top down yoked construction, short rows, putting stitches on hold and picking them up later, stranded color work, ladderback jacquard!
Required Skills:
- Knit
- Purl
- Cast On
- Bind off
- Read a pattern
- Work basic stranded color work.
Required Supplies:
- MC 4 (4, 5, 5, 6, 6) {6, 7, 7, 8} CC 1 (1, 1, 2, 2, 2) {2, 2, 2, 2} skeins Scout in the colors of your choosing.
- Finished Bust Measurement: 38 (42, 46, 50, 54, 58) 62, 66, 70, 74“
- 32" US size 5 and 6 needle (or sizes needed to obtain gauge)

- Supplies available for purchase at the shop
Pre-Work:
Gauge swatch by casting on 30 stitches . Work in stockinette stitch for 5". Adjust needles as necessary to meet gauge of 20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette. Once gauge is met, cast on for neck ribbing and complete. Come to class ready to work short rows

Once you have signed up for the class and purchased your materials, you will be sent a code for the zoom meetings as well as any other pertinent information. Each session is held virtually. Additional videos will be posted on the group facebook page where participants are encouraged to share photos.
