Graerup Chunky
In this three session class, students will receive 5 hours of hands on instruction covering the bottom up yoked construction, knitting math to accommodate varied gauges, joining sleeves to a body, kitchener stitch, and picking up stitches to work a three needle bind off to create the rolled neckline.
Required Skills:
Required Supplies:
Prework:
Swatch in stockinette in one color by casting on 22sts on a size 10.75 and knit for 5". If you know that your colorwork gauge is different from your stockinette gauge, swatch in colorwork instead. My gauge is noticeably different from that of the sample, at 14 sts/4", which amounts to a roughly 5" difference in finished garment measurements. I will help you to do the math to account for differences in gauge in class 1.
